tomorrow, the black crowes will be releasing their first ever live dvd, "freak n roll...into the fog". it was filmed during their reunion tour last august at the fillmore auditorium in san francisco. here they are closing the 2 hour long show with a cover of one of my favorite songs by the band.

this is a fantastic version...almost as good as the original...i will be rushing out to buy the dvd as it sounds a gas. thanks for this I will be playing and singing along all night.

i am a die-hard Band fan, as the Last Waltz was a life-changing rock film for me... the Black Crowes are another favorite, they do Southern rock and roll proud...
