the stooges - down on the street



i like the stooges. i listen to them quite often and i think you should too. last year, rhino records released deluxe 2-disc versions of the band's 1969 self titled album and 1970's "fun house". both come with a ton of extras (demos, rarities, alternate mixes, etc.) and i suggest checking them out if you're a fan. here's my favorite track off of "fun house".

i remember getting this in the 8th grade and the cover still trips me out.
then i realized i'd seen iggy pop somewhere before- he played a recurring role as a neighbor girl's father on pete and pete.
